Bullseye - resident
Since 2012 - Located on 5 acres on the Key Peninsula, near Gig Harbor, WA. You will find a comfortable, home environment where your pets can be a member of our family while you are away. Your pet will receive daily play, lots of love, and interaction with our family and pets. My dogs have access to being outdoors in huge play yards during the day, (weather permitting), and are always inside at night. I do feed dogs separately, and crate dogs at night. We accept social, family dogs. ALL pets must be current on vaccinations *please see shot requirements*. I do have a kennel area for pups that require outside care only, please contact me for more information on this service.
Experience
Boarding dogs privately for over 10 years, and have owned at least one dog for the last 25. I have worked with several trainers, and trained agility with my own dogs. Active in 4H for kids for several years. I started boarding dogs because I love animals and like to help people. Humans need to be able to vacation or leave home without the stress of what to do with Fido. Since most dogs are more like children, it's important to have quality dog care. In my spare time, I ride horses, hike, train dogs, and assist with animal rescue. My life is dedicated to animals and overseeing their care is important.
Billing
Cash or check, or credit card payment is expected as payment in full upon check-in. Returned checks will be subject to additional charges.
Emergencies
Although every effort will be made to keep your pet safe, we all have to aknowledge that accidents occur. I will make every effort to contact Owner, in case of an emergency, but the care and safety of your pet will come first. Your pet will be treated as my own, and in case of an emergency, I will remain with your pet until veterinarian staff member releases pet, or a decision is made to keep your pet overnight. A medical release form is required in case of an emergency.
Feeding
You are responsible for sending enough food for the duration of your pet's visit in a sealed container clearly marked with your pet's name (a suggestion would be to individually bag the daily ration for your pet). Should your pet run out of food, I will purchase food of his/her same diet. You will be charged for the cost of the food and possibly mileage if your food is a specialty brand that I had to make a special trip into town for.
